Who We Are

Whether you require industrial exhaust fans, centrifugal fans, radial tip or high pressure fans you can be sure that we at CB Power and Industrial will select and design the custom heavy duty fan. Our chief engineer is Neil Fraser whose background for Novenco fans in selecting and applying large custom heavy duty fans and later for Howden Buffalo brings his unique background of wrapping complex requirements into focused designs and selections.

In addition to being a first class fan engineer he is an avid canoeist and biker dude. So if he isn’t in front of a computer you will find him outdoors in the fresh air on the open road or on a lake or stream. Keeping that air fresh by ensuring efficient lower power selections and designs is one of his motivators on large power and industrial fans.

But again he likes to get outside and that means “things gotta run” -- especially on the weekends. That’s his motivator to ensure reliability and maintainability principles and strategies (as well as plain ol’ good common sense) is used. If you want a matter of fact no nonsense fan engineer -you now know who to call.

Our other professional engineer is Jim Wywrot. His strength lies in understanding the process. As an industrial for two dozen years working everything from the technical and quality labs to supervising a paper machine, with stints as capital equipment engineer maintenance engineer and as pipe fitter foreman he understands that the process impacts many departments and areas of the business.

Having an overview perspective allows him to identify key considerations or take advantage of opportunities that otherwise might be missed.
